It is an absolute honor and a privilege to introduce myself as your new Principal. Stepping into this role at a school with such a rich history, a vibrant culture, and a dedication to excellence is truly humbling.
First and foremost, I want to acknowledge the incredible legacy that has been built here. My primary commitment to you is not to redefine who we are, but to honor, protect, and build upon the strong foundation that makes Ada Merritt K-8 Center so special.
What truly sets our school apart is its exceptional programming and multicultural spirit. Ada Merritt is a model for academic excellence and global citizenship. As someone who deeply values specialized learning and cultural appreciation, I am fully committed to nurturing and expanding these core programs to ensure our students continue to receive a world-class education.
Over the coming weeks, my top priority is to listen and learn—to hear your stories, understand your traditions, and learn how I can best support our students, teachers, and families. Our school wide theme for the 2026-2027 school year, “The Next Chapter in Our Magical Story,” will guide and inspire our learners and educators as we continue creating impactful educational experiences and magical moments together.
